Designer Bio

Tibi

Based in New York City, Tibi was founded in 1997 by Amy Smilovic. Raised by artist parents in a small town off the coast of Georgia, Amy's early career was in marketing and advertising. While living in Hong Kong, she began sourcing materials from Italy and France and what began as a small collection of contemporary dresses has grown into more than 25 years of creating garments that encourage individuality, personality, and a good mix of contradictions.
