Maison Louis Marie

The tradition of the Maison Louis Marie began in 1792 during the French Revolution when botanist Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars was exiled to Madagascar where he discovered a vast array of plant specimens. After 10 years he was able to return to France with a collection of over 2000 of these plants. Now, 200 years later, his descendant, Marie du Petit Thouars continues her familial botanical legacy by creating fragrances, candles, and skincare products imbued with unique luxurious fragrances.
