Founded in 1980 by Benedikt Taschen in Cologne, Germany, Taschen was originally a comic shop, and is now a publishing company distributing books on architecture, design, art, photography and more! The company prides itself on being carbon neutral, each year, they offset carbon emissions with carbon credits at the Instituto Terra, a reforestation program in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and have their carbon pledge on their website.
