Established in 2016, Lowercase blends a love of eyewear, appreciation of craftsmanship, and inspiration from NYC. Over the course of two weeks, each pair is made by hand in Brooklyn and under goes a 30 step process. Lowercase prides themselves on sourcing the best quality materials like Italian and Japanese Acetate, Carl Zeiss Sun Lenses, and German engineered hinges from OBE. In order to tread lightly on the planet, they keep things small, using just what they need, and finding new uses for dead stock acetate.
