Caring about women’s rights and the future of the planet go hand in hand at Junes. Janean Mann set out on a mission to make a reusable bag everyone would want to carry. Traveling to El Paso to search for the perfect sustainable materials, Mann was struck by the many rows of fliers showing missing women. In partnering with an all-female sewing co-op in Juarez, the mission of supporting women is woven into each bag. This enables them to sustainably support their families and portions of all sales go to the Global Fund for Women to empower and protect women from gender-based violence.
