A NOTE FROM V&V
It's the start of an exciting Fall season and a new phase of growth in our downtown. It's also a time to celebrate our city's history and the place where some of its most progressive moments happened: The Carolina Theatre. Opened in 1926, The Carolina was the first theatre in Durham to admit African Americans, and has hosted the Gay & Lesbian Film Festival since 1995. We showcase its regal beauty and grace alongside our Fall women's collection in this season's lookbook.
At V&V, we work to make a positive impact. Over 60% of our goods are American made and produced with natural fibers, and 70% of our brands are women-owned. In the past four years, we've donated more than $14,800 to SEEDS and Urban Ministries of Durham, local non profits. We're a Durham Living Wage certified company, and the furnishings in our stores were made by local artisans with sustainable materials.
The way we do business matters.
Our goods are crafted and chosen with care because what you wear matters, too.
Please visit our stores in downtown Durham - and the community we love with all our heart.
