Q&A WITH HARRISON HAYNES:

How does living in our community influence your work as an artist?
This community is super supportive of creative endeavors and that has helped me feel comfortable taking risks with my work.

What do you think downtown Durham needs now?
A cobbler. A tailor. A liquor store. A camera store. An art supply store. A Trader Joe's. A fruit stand. Another bodega/corner store. More art galleries. A diner. More retail!

What is your favorite mixed drink or wine?
The Aperol margarita at Pizzeria Toro!
