Explore the Inspiration:
The V&V Woman

She’s the most enchanting guest at the dinner party. She has everyone's attention but never takes up all the space and air. She’s magnetic and effortlessly elegant with her own unique style. She’s you, she’s one of our models—she’s the V&V woman.

Join us as we introduce our models from Soirée Enchantée, our winter lookbook, to explore their embodiment of the V&V woman and how their style elevates them each day.

Zanetta is our longest-running V&V model and an artist to her core. We’re always wowed by her creative pursuits and how she embraces each with strength and ease, whether it’s being an incredible mother, coaching and managing a long list of talent, or serving looks in the studio. A native of Hickory, NC, Z loves gardening and exploring her passion for all things creative–directing, design, and creating art projects with her daughter. There are few things more fun than cuing up Cardi B or Megan Thee Stallion in the studio and watching Zanetta work her magic.

In our winter lookbook, we wanted Z to rock a look as unique as she is–a luxe silk-blend skirt with a gorgeous pop of emerald, paired with a bold scarlet top and edgy but refined blazer that paired back beautifully with unique gold earrings, a silk scarf, and timeless loafers.

Eileen’s worked with us for years, so we knew we had to bring her back (amidst her busy schedule as a gene therapy scientist working to cure rare diseases) for this year’s SOIRÉE. She’s a born-and-raised Raleigh native that loves creating, sharing, and experiencing love in one of its truest forms–food. When she’s not modeling and rocking out to Jungle or in the lab, Eileen loves spending time with her husband and pup while doing a daily crossword or being a tried-and-true expert in the field of four-leaf clover finding–she’ll pit herself against any challenger.

We love Eileen’s down-for-anything, laid-back personality, and wanted her lookbook fit to embody it. We love the classic look of a black button-down and denim, dressed up with unique stitching accents, pops of gold jewelry, and a killer cowboy bootie. Go-to holiday glam made easy.

A multi-talented artist, model, and actress, Briana–lovingly referred to as Bri by the V&V team–always guarantees a fun, joyful shoot or hang. Whether she’s at her day job, working in a restored boutique hotel in downtown Raleigh (where she was born and raised), or spending her free time in an array of acting classes, dancing, or at the docks near her home, Bri embodies a spirited and curious joie de vivre. We love jamming to FKA Twigs and Rosalía with her on set and basking in her radiant and carefree energy.

For the lookbook, we wanted Bri’s look to feel as playful as her–with contrasting colorful accessories, a bold natural hair and makeup look, and a monochrome, youthful take on suiting, elevated by a combination of textures, silhouettes, and a delightful pair of boots.

From her gorgeous silver curls to her impeccable wit and taste, Vanessa always brings the party. As an artist–modeling, directing, and acting (she just finished shooting a feature!), Vanessa always brings a clear vision to any project–humorous, distinctive, and always true to herself. Having her in the studio means an afternoon of classic rock, hilarious stories, and creating some of our favorite photos and videos in the process. A native of Chicago, we’re glad she’s made her way to NC and onto team V&V.

For our lookbook, we saw Vanessa as the party host–effortlessly cool while staying comfy and chic in a matching silky, colorful set from Raquel Allegra. Fun accessories and a uniquely cool slipper add the final touches to her impeccably classy but unexpected holiday look.

Sheila is relatively new to modeling, but don’t let that fool you—she’s a natural in front of the camera. With a multifaceted array of talents and passions, Sheila is a true force–whether it’s working as Senior Director of Conservation Impact at the Nature Conservancy, spending time in nature, immersing herself in art, photographing for her husband’s jewelry company, or being a mom to her three-year-old. We love her taste in music (because who can go wrong with the Cranberries on set?) and how effortlessly she pulls off any look we style, embracing it all the way.

We styled Sheila a lot like we see her–classic and timeless but with a lot of surprise along the way. She stuns in a tailored but oversized Tibi suit, paired back with a colorful cardigan and black bralette—emphasized by gold jewels—that radiates cool-girl holiday fun.
