Chers amis,
This month, we’re highlighting and partnering with SEEDS, a local organization dedicated to providing educational and hands-on resources in gardening, food access, and leadership to Durham youth. Aside from sharing their story on our channels, we’re committed to giving back financially, and on November 25 and 26, we’ll be offering you a chance to give with us!
On Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26, we’re donating 10% of sales directly to SEEDS. So while you’re doing some holiday shopping, check out our wide range of gifts (or even treat yourself) while giving back to a great cause.
SEEDS was founded by Brenda Brodie and Annice Kenan in 1994 as a way to change lives through gardening. Since then, it’s expanded into a multi-use two-acre urban garden and classroom near downtown Durham, providing valuable life and leadership skills. In the past year, SEEDS has re-started their in-person programming, providing impactful after-school and summer care to 142 children and families, free of cost to those in need. In addition to their educational garden, SEEDS also offers gratis you-pick seasonal vegetables, herbs, and flowers to the surrounding Durham community.
Throughout their history, “a deep respect for life, the earth, and one another has remained at the heart of SEEDS." As they look forward, they’re focused on continually growing that respect alongside the potential of Durham kids and teens. We're honored to partner with SEEDS and give back to such an important cause to us, our team, and our community. We hope you'll join us to support them next Friday and Saturday.
Tendrement,
Nadira & Ryan
